It's inevitable. Vitali will beat Peter. Wlad and Vitali will eventually hold all of the belts. And they wont fight each other. This REALLY sucks for wlads legacy because he cant unify them
I agree that they can't be unified for any length of time. But they MAY be able to unify them for a short period of time. Things are so bad at the top that it might actualy be worth it for these ****ING IDIOTS to allow a unifications, wave the sacntioning fees for a little while just to allow some sense to be made of the HW scene. For long term benefits, you understand, business. Say, two defences before they start makeing a noise and then one more before the belts fracture.
Vitali won't be around for too long anyway. He'll just beat Peter & try for a unification vs. the winner of Chagaev vs. Valuev and if that doesn't work out he'll re-retire. I know he wants to get 2 belts while his brother has 2 but he may have to settle for just 1 if he can't get the winner to fight him.
I'd say there is a 90% chance Vitali will never fight again. He is a potential roadblock to unification, but only for a year or so at most. Then he will disappear back into obscurity. Or should I say "into Bolivian". :yep
