I think this fight will be more one-sided than many expect, Benavidez takes this...

Benavidez for me. Are we sure Morrell is well developed yet anyway?

I think Morrell is gonna outbox Benavidez for the first 6 rounds kind of how Andrade did early rounds in their fight. Second half when Benavidez gets sloppy I see Morrell dropping him. UD for Morrell. I personally believe he has the bigger punch in this fight. Benavidez was not worried about Plant or Andrade’s power but we will see him get hit by someone with the ability to KO. And to me that is the difference, DB is not used to having to be worried about his opponents power.

In the minority here. Going with Morrell by KO. I've been watching Morrell for a while and have been impressed since his 2nd Pro fight. Definitely wouldn't bet my house on it.

I think Benavidez will win but Morrell might make him look bad.

Rooting for Morell. Haven't rewatched either enough times to make a call.

I think Benavidez will eke out a close, and maybe controversial decision in a great fight.

I watched Morrell fight Hot Rod and I don't see what all the hype is about. Benavidez is going to beat him up, I don't think it'll be all that close either.

This fight is closer than the polling. I think Morrell has a decent chance to win.

While I make Benevidez the favorite, he's not an overwhelming favorite. I think this fight is about 60-40.

Benevidez has shown that he can beat good boxers who can move. Morrell has shown that he can beat stationary fighters who come at him. Benevidez is much more proven and he's got a great offense, but Morrell has shown that he's got raw talent and his offense is pretty good as well.

I think we're going to see an exciting fight. It will be close early on, and the fighter who can dominate the 2nd half of the fight will come out as the winner. I think Benevidez will win a close decision with a chance for a late TKO.

    Benavidez has faced better opposition.

I think Benavidez takes a decision.

I also think this fight should be at 168 lbs.

Haven't seen enough of Morrell so Benavidez by stoppage.

I'll go Benavidez based off his greater experience, the higher level he's fought at albeit his resume is not exactly strong, and the deck will likely be stacked in his favour.

I've had a sneaky feeling Morrell might stop him. He's the better athlete, the naturally bigger man, and the harder puncher. Morrell is very talented but in his only acid test and fight against someone his size (Hot Rod) he arguably lost.

Likewise, Benavidez didn't look near his destructive self up at 175 against someone world class his size and that was against a badly faded Gvozdyk who only turned up for the paycheck and didn't throw with any real intent

Benavidez is very talented too and if he can land with consistency on Morrell with his spiteful digs and fast combos I can see him getting Morrell out of there at some point. My gut feeling is edging towards Morrell but we just don't know enough about him up at this level. The only resistance he's had to overcome was against Hot Rod (who to be fair is a very good fighter and is underrated) and he didn't really impress in that one and Hot Rod wasn't really throwing his combinations against him and his combos are very destructive.
