The best “TALL” fighter

    If someone wanted to know what a "tall fighter" that used all their height and length looked like. I'd probably tell them to watch Tommy Loughran.

    No one "fought tall" or utilized their reach better than Monzon. No one. Foster gave away his height advantage to a great extent by stalking in a crouch...a semi crouch...Ernie Terrell did the same thing. Hearns could at times, but his armory wasn't augmented by as stellar a ring IQ as Monzon...he was tagged and decked by guys like Barkley and Kinchen....reference the Hagler and Leonard bouts...he didn't have the discipline to adhere to a sense of distance IMO.
