Most of the fights if they dont happen within the next 6 months will be clearly past their best dates and have lost a good portion of their significance.

A fight being a 'best fight' is usually in direct proportion to significance. Its significance is in direct proportion to the condition of the fighters in the fight.

Wilder is now 37, Beterbiev is now 37, Loma is now 34,

Wilder and Beterbiev are already past their best days. Fights involving them are no longer the fights they should have been. And the clock is ticking on Loma.

A 39 year old Wilder against AJ doesnt count as the fight happening, in the contexts Im discussing here.

Yeah this was going to be a big fight, especially in the UK, before Haye got cut and pulled out.

I think this was in 2013. With hindsight, Fury would almost certainly have won, but Haye was actually the favourite at the time. Fury was coming off a poor performance against Cunningham, and most thought he would get sloppy and leave himself open to a big Haye right hand at some point and get KO'ed.

It was Fury's coming out fight.

& he was just in the transition of becoming a slick outboxer. He could have outpointed Haye...but if Haye landed and dropped him it would have turned into a war and Fury would have just rolled over him.

Joshua Wilder when they were both unbeaten champions knocking people out not happening was just absurd, the hype and buzz would’ve been incredible and the fight almost certainly would’ve ended in a KO either way, it certainly would’ve been dramatic, would still be great to watch now but it sums boxing up that it didn’t happen, should’ve happened after AJ had beaten Wlad and Wilder had beaten Ortiz, that was the time

Lewis - Bowe ....Both Newman & Papa Smurf Futch knew Bowe couldn't beat Lennox
Mayweather- Pacquaio ..... IV Gate should have caused the Debacle of May 2 2015 struck from the records
Canelo-GGG ..... Fights should have been made away from Vegas corruption
Now for probably my all time fight I wanted to see ......Mayweather - Margarito I KNOW in my heart Floyd feared Antonio & he proved it in front of witnesses & videos. I'll go so far as to say he was TERRIFIED !!!!
He had nothing to keep Margarito off of him Tony would laugh at Floyds pitty pats & walk right through them Maidana showed how to beat Floyd but never got the win he deserved.
Im sure that Floyd would never ever fight Tony though. Even in Vegas with a 1000ml of Saline & juiced to the eyeballs he just plainly didn't have the stones

I happen to agree that he would be destroyed.

But they would have been big fights - he had a large following and even today you can find people arguing that he would have beaten Floyd.
