I believe it has to be Floyd Mayweather Jr hands down. He has multiple plans to counter his opponents various plans

Leonard and Duran were both great at it. Ali, too.

I just saw some highlights of Floyd vs Canelo and it's clear Canelo and his trainer really did their home work, research on Floyd and Canelo was prepared for some classic Floyd moves but Mayweathers mind was just working too quick for Canelo who ultimately realized he was in there with a true once in a life time legend

Sonny Liston. When he realised how homicidal Williams was he drew him into counter punches. When he realised how averse Eddie Machen was to getting hit, he sheathed most of the heavy artillery and just out-touched him. Both pretty.

    True I think.

Very bad news for Josh Taylor, who might be second best.

Both SRL and Duran let their ego get the better of them, so I don't think they are good examples.

Hopefully there'll be a Zarate book before then and @ChrisJS can expand his repertoire.

Seriously though. Fella's written a book! He's earned the right to say what he likes. If the question was who wins Prime Ali v Prime Tyson ( far-fetched thread I know - wonder if it's ever been done?), he could say Jofre and I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Lewis. His skillful use of the uppercut to break the punchers he faced.

Haha cheers. Zarate definitely is in my future plans but I’ll probably do Harada first. Actually working with someone very exciting right now which I’d expect to be out next year. That’s all I’ll say for now.
