    In my country, Mate Parlov, had a great amateur career, unfortunately he turned professional too late and never reached the elite level...

    Fantastic all rounder, he could do a bit of everything and came into every fight trained up like it was his last. The guys that had the skills to hang with him inevitably ran out of juice as the fight progressed and as he adapted to their style. Great fighting brain.
