    Ah, Battling Nelson, of course. But he was a US citizen, right, but hailed from Danmark?

    I beg your pardon, you're correct. Nelson was born in Copenhagen, but Wiki lists his nationality as American.

    From the US, it's between Greb, Robinson and Armstrong. I'm currently going with Robinson but I change my mind on this sometimes.

    If it’s the best from country of birth, has there been any better from Slovakia than, as yet unproven - Moses Ituama? Can’t think of any eminent Slovak boxers, in fact!

    Probably not. As a world titlest, Lukas Konecny achieved more than Moses has to date, but I suspect that pre prime Itauma is already better.
