My Favourite boxing movie is Fat City [1972] starring Jeff Bridges and Stacy Keach and directed by the great John Huston. It revolves around two boxers [Bridges and Keach], and their day to day struggle trying to make a few $s in the mirky world of small hall professional boxing. The acting is superb, and the storyline is excellent. This is not only a great boxing movie but simply a great movie. I would recommend this peice of art to anyone.Huston at his finest.

The remake can't touch the original, CW. Canada Lee's heart-wrenching Oscar performance as a brain-damaged ex-champ alone makes it worth viewing.

Curious, did you pick your avatar name in homage to the great '30s left-hooker?

I had two media studies assignments in college. One was to analyse the opening scenes of a film and the second was to analyse a film poster. For the poster I chose Rocky II and for the film I chose Raging Bull :D .

Has anyone seen the film Undisputed? The plot is good but the film ain't all that and it's obvious that the main character is based on Mike Tyson.

Good movie. Hate to say, but I liked OJ's acting on that one. Saw that movie at like 2 in the morning a few years back.
