There are some who are faster, a few that are more accurate, but none more effective than Juan Manuel Marquez IMO.....even past prime he throws 3,4,5,6 punch combos with power

Now would be the perfect time to post one of my favorite videos, entitled "Juan Manuel Marquez Combination Punching".

But apparently, it's been TAKEN DOWN, because some ****ER named DON KING somehow claimed rights to the footage.

tried to put up a poll, but Manny deserves a mention but honestly he throws arm punches until he throws his power straight left, or uppercut....he isnt very accurate....combinations is more than throwing punches and being flashy, you gotta land CLEAN

I personally prefer Marquez's brand of combination punching. Accurate, and perfectly thrown uppercuts, hooks to the body

    That sucks.

JMM is up there. RJJ used to throw ridiculous combos back in his day.

How good is JMM throwing combos when he has to press the action? Chris John don't think much of his combos. He was flat out ineffective against a slickster like Floyd. It's easy to throw with power when your opponent is there to be hit. Here's the reality; when JMM needs to close the distance to land punches (ie on moving opponents)....he's just not that special. JMM is a great counterpuncher, but let's face it, that's just one dimension of punching. If you wanna look for the real reason he lost to Pac---that is it. When the fight is on the line, you can't just sit and wait for your opponent to come at you.

Juan did throw combos at Floyd. He just didn't land anything. Floyd's defense is dynamic enough where it can protect him from combos.
