I think Marquez is the best fighter Floyd's ever beaten, in terms of his ability at the time, however stylistically the deck was so far in Floyd's favour it was basically a mismatch.

The best performance of his career is a toss up between Corrales and Mosley - closely followed by Hatton. If he'd have got rid of Shane late there'd be no debate to be had.

As far as performances go , it has to be ranked up there inside the top 5 , from start to finish it was a demolition job , like i stated , Gatti was shot , yes i agree he was shite anyway , but that wasn't the point here , the point was how good was Mayweather on the night ??? , IMO somewhere near his absolute best is how i would answer , and the performance reflected that
