THe best division

    My vote for the best division is by far the lightweight...it is absolutely crazy right now....and really just ready to explode w/ some classic boxing action...perhaps of all time.....

    Nate Campbell
    Joel Casamayor
    Michael Katsidis
    Juan Diaz
    Amir Khan

    Manny Pacqaio
    Manuel Marquez

    Amir Khan said he wants to fight for the title before 2008 and Pacman is about to enter the fray w/ a fight w/ David Diaz (which i think we all know will end w/ a knockout and Pacman will not have to worry about the injustice that was done to El Terrible)

    And today Marquez said that he wants a rematch w/ Pacman...and that he does not care if it is after the fight w/ David Diaz and he would do it at 135 or 130.....meaning Marquez might enter the fray.....wow im telling u 2009 is going to be crazy...Pacman, Amir Khan, Casamayor, Campbell, Marquez....and Juan Diaz and Katsidis could have easily won either of their matches and could rightfully request rematches....by far the best division in boxing as far as both excitement and talent is concerned...and who knows maybe Joan Guzman will want to join later!

    Okay i just received a revelation on this whole issue.....
    this is how it should all go down

    Pacman versus David Diaz
    Manuel Marquez versus Casamayor
    the winners face off afterwards (probably a rematch b\w Manuel Marquez and Pacman)

    Amir Khan versus Campbell at end of year

    Juan Diaz versus Katsidis
    the winner of this match will fight the winner of Khan/Campbell

    THe winner of this whole issue (i think it will be Amir Khan personally) will fight the winner of Marquez/Pacquiao 3

    (then perhaps a challenge from Joan Guzman of the winner)

    ANd while this is all going down Cotto and Mayweather should fight and the winner of that fight will drop down to 140 to meet whoever cleans up 135 to determine the best P4P OF ALL TIME!

    I'm telling you I should be a promoter no?

    Right now it is the welterweight division with up and coming fighters like Chavez, Jr, Berto, and hard fighting contenders like Clottey and possibly Collazo if his hands are okay. Too much happening at WW, but the lightweight comes in second with all those fights you guys are mentioning. Someone needs to slow down Khan before he actually gets a title shot too soon and gets KOed. Supermiddle comes in third and then LH.

    You guys are pretty much spot on with the BEST divisions, but I'm irresistably drawn to 160-168-175 divisions.

    Eventhough Mayweather/Cotto isnt happening yet, it is still Welterweight. With fights like Margarito/Cintron2, Cotto/Gomez, Mosley/Judah, Quintana/Williams2 on the horizon. Im excited.

    lightweight division.. campbell, diaz, casamayor, khan and others and then with pac moving up.. great division, but id say the welterweight division is a close second.. just not that many great fights going on like in the lightweight division..
