: Floyd has never fought a prime-ATG fighter.

Chavez was an ATG and in his prime would have walked all over Floyd!

You must be confusing JCSuperstar with Jesus Chavez:deal

JCSuperstar was getting outboxed by Meldrick Taylor (Who is not an ATG) and completely embarrased by Whitaker.

Floyd and his godlike defensive capabilities/granite jaw would easily have beaten Chavez.

    Chavez's nightmare.

Floyd would use a similar gameplay Whitaker used and boxed him to bits.

Went 97-0 before his first loss yet Floyd fans act like 46-0 is a great accomplishment

Ha! People are comparing Roger to Floyd.

Floyd is 10x the fighter Roger was.

Floyd would have easily outboxed Chavez. The 2009 Mayweather was unbeatable, simply unbeatable. That Mayweather beats Pea and Chavez.

Floyd would be on his bike the whole fight. He would tag Chavez just enough to win rounds. It wouldnt be impressive, but it would get the job done.

He's way too small. Welter was Hearns first division, and he was huge, just like SRL. Welter is Floyd's 4th division, and he's still small there. On a fantasy level, Welter is the only place that fight could happen since that's one of two divisions that they both competed in.

Floyd at 47 is not as fast or as strong as he was at 40 or 35. Hearns is/was 6'1 with an 80 inch reach and very good power and speed at 47. He got bad as he went up, but at 47 he was strong and fast.

I dont know if Floyd could keep him off. I could see him getting caught. If Floyd's power/speed at 40 and lower would have followed him to Welter, then maybe we'd have a different discussion.

But I think 147 Floyd is way too small to beat Hearns, he couldn't beat him to the punch on the outside due to the reach, and isn't the bigger man on the inside.

    Tuff fight for Money May.

Add to the fact that he doesn't throw combos too often at his age, and even when he does, they have respectable power, but not ridiculous power, it would be a tough fight.

I hear that, I have no clue because I've never seen Floyd with such a giant other than Chico. But hearns and chicos styles are way different. And judging how hearns beat up Leonard the result might be the same, woulda been a sick fight.

    It's that defense.

I don't see any man breaking it.

Hearns would destroy Floyd the same as Paul Williams would have done

    Floyd is such a *****

Pacquiao would go through Floyd's resume undefeated and not go life and death with chop chop to lose to Castillo and maidana like Floyd did
