Canelo is a slow plodder. And Floyd weight drained him.

Fact: Out of the 107 about 70 were taxi drivers. There is no denying that...

But also a Fact: He won a lot of important fights and fought everyone

I think what Chavez did was very interesting. And people need to understand back then only heavyweights were making really big money. Boxers spend about 3 months training for a fight. During that time Chavez used to fight 2 or 3 drunk taxi drivers to stay active and make a few bucks. But when the important fights came he was ready.

    Wow.

You've never watched that fight then.

It was a one sided true offensive showcase in a shutout or near shutout.

Perception of the performance in Mayweather vs. Corley as anything other than a big positive for Floyd are those who have never watched the fight. As simple as that...

Chavez was a great fighter, but vastly over rated. People like the way he fought and the way he won fights (ko's and offensive beat downs) so much that they over rate him. For example calling him the best ever!!! Come on!!! He's not even the best Latino fighter ever, that distinction goes to a gentleman from Panama that had hands of stone. I hear a lot of people talking about a fight between Floyd and JCC but how would JCC do against Duran? He's so over rated that some fans will actually say that JCC would win.
