    Greb got the better of the first two fights and was then essentially shot. No knockdowns, no stoppages, and the last fight was close as well. Murdered is overstating it IMO, and seeing as Greb was a natural middle/light heavy (who could admittedly beat HW contenders for fun) I wouldn't say it's a big indicator that Tunney was anything more than a fair hitter. :good

    Agreed. I wasn't saying he was more than a fair hitter (I know you said that in your post), just thought it was odd to mention him in the thread.

    Chris Byrd springs to mind.

    The only bad defeat on his record is against Ike, the others are either when past it or a man he'd never beat in Wlad.

    Wins over Vitali, Tua and a few other decent contenders.
