Does anyone else want to see this fight between the #1 and #2? Roman Gonzalez kind of reminds me of a lesser version of Ricardo Lopez with his textbook style and his massive punching power. It's rare to see such a small fighter with such power. Only if he was bigger.......... This divsion is pretty thin at the moment but there's a man who can really test him.. Raul Garcia... Can Gonzalez beat Garcia?
Honestly I just don't enjoy these tiny men fight, I don't know what it is... I know there are some great fighters down there, its just not my cup of tea... That being said, YES I think when the #1 and #2 guys in any division go against each other its a good fight:good
Oh I'll watch it, but like I said for some reason or another I just can't get into the these lower divisions as I do for others.
el chocolatito will destroy garcia and every other fighter in that division. i wanna see him in the ring with edgar sosa soon that would be a great fight or even cesar canchila that would allso be interesting
I think he should fight the IBO champ Joyi, who has a record of 19-0 (14) I think and looks fantastic. He hasn't had great competition himself, but has good skills and a decent punch and would be a good test for Gonzalez. I think Gonzalez's win over Niida last year was one of the most impressive of last year.
I would also give my left nut to see Edgar Sosa VS Hugo Cazares or Ulises Solis VS Hugo Cazares.. Now that would the ****. Hugo vs Solis would be an all out war!! Sosa is a bad little fighter too. Man I remember when he came in as a confidence builder for Brian Viloria on the Pac/jorge solis undercard.. The way he dismantled viloria's offense was simply amazing.. It was a beautiful display of pure boxing skills at its finest. Those smooth and crisp combinations were beautiful.. Sosa is the real deal.
