The WBC, WBA, IBF & WBO are all recognised as World titles. The IBO can be recognised depending on who is fighting. The WBU has had it's moments with Ricky Hatton, Shea Neary etc, but it is now in obscurity. Outside the big 4 belts and excluding Hatton & Neary - What is the best fight sanctioned by a fringe governing body?
Fenech vs McCrory was an entertaining 14 rounds... The IBF was in its infancy back then. With the WBC and WBA being dictated by **** sucking, money hungry, fat gutted mother ****ing sons of sluts, its no wonder the upcoming bouts with any interest are in the 'SOUP' governing realms. The sooner Don and Carl King are beheaded, as well as British mongers, the sooner the game has a chance of predicting greatness via those 2 bodies top ten, in all divisions. Control freaks **** everything up.
I thought it might have been for the Intercontinental Youth Title...:rofl I guess it the fight we want to see, more than the nostalgia these days. Pac and Hatton could be fighting for the Semi-Northern Hemisphere, under 40's, below H/W but above Fly weight crown, and it wouldn't matter. Its the fight that makes sense... as nothing else seems to with the Governing Alphabet.
