I agree on the first one...the 2nd one? Not so much

I thought it was exciting to see Canelo back up his preflight talk and put GGG on his back foot, which seemed impossible at the time.

I don’t dispute that part, I just felt it lacked in some of the explosive exchanges and intensity of the first fight,

Definitely Pacquiao vs Marquez IV for me. One of the best rivalries ever in terms of action/excitement and has one of the most iconic knockout punches in boxing history.

Inoue vs Donaire was an absolute cracker of a fight. I thoroughly enjoyed it more than any fight I can recall in recent times.

My pick is Salido vs Vargas, but Orlando's fights with Lopez I & II, Martinez II and Terdsak were great as well.

Estrada vs Cuadras I & II were really good. So were Estrada's fights with Chocolatito, Rungvisai, Marquez, Segura, Sanchez, etc. Estrada's a really fun fighter, one of my current favourites.

I loved Taylor vs Prograis, and Inoue vs Donaire as well.

    Fury-Wilder I for me...

A great fight should be an allegory or metaphor for life and that one was of BIBLICAL proportions... Fury as the "feather-fisted" (at the time, hah) prodigal son returning from a booze, coke and food-induced layoff to face arguably one of the top-10 hardest punchers of all time... Fury's hubris in letting himself get caught in a fight he was running away with... Wilder's corner telling him "he ain't never felt the Alabama heat in the summertime" before the 12th and that **** actually working... Fury's legendary lazarus act... The bad decision, reminding us that life isn't fair... Fury's grace and almost joy in accepting said decison, reminding us to roll with the punches... Both men's willingness to immediately run it back like men. Twas a good night, I still get a little dopamine rush just thinking about it.

I thought the decision was fair.

The problem with this fight is that they combined for like ten punches landed per round

I think most people gave those rounds to Fury based on ring generalship and defense... which 3 can you see for Wilder? I’m usually the first to accept a draw (ie both Canelo-GGG fights) but not this time.

I watched the fight with some Wilder fans and they thought he lost... Chatted with some people who were in the building and they said the vibe was that he lost.. Hell, Wilder is an emotional guy, his face said it all.

Either way though, the fact that there is still a controversy is another reason why this was a classic fight.
