    You must be forgetting the first Morales fight and the two with JMM. I'd say that makes him pretty comparable with SRL.

    Its between he & Pacquiao for THIS generations best fighter & its clear to me that you cannot leave Pac off the list, look what he has accomplished... whats also clear to me is that Floyd is a `better` fighter than Pacquiao & a lot of people have him no1 p4p ahead of Manny as well as vice versa... both have to be included, just dont vote for him if you dont think he`s the best.

    He is behind at least TWO men from his own era (Floyd & Pac), why waste time giving him a place ?
    I never gave Hearns a place (& I view him as a better & greater fighter than Hopkins) because he failed in prime v prime matches with Hagler & Leonard so again, he is unlikely to even score more votes than his main rivals in his own era so he is not at all likely to win the best of 30 yrs vote, same with Hopkins.

    I voted for Sugar Ray Leonard but a good argument could be made for Pernell Whitaker or Roy Jones Jr. Also decent arguments for Floyd or Pac

    :good All of those cats were incredible athletes and boxers! It just so happened that Ray came out on top of ALL of them. I guess someone had to do it. I think he was the most well BALANCED with regards to his entire fight game. He had great defense...incredible offense...ring intelligence....the ability to adapt mid fight and most important Ray had that HUNGER that NOT everyone has...to test...challenge and push himself to a level that SOLIDIFIED his greatness. Everyone could see the talent and ability but he didn't rely on just looking great against good fighters...he went after the truly GREAT ones and made his legacy in boxing one of the best ever.

    yea...I think Duran should have definitley been on this list.....hearns as well but I guess you had to try and take the BEST from each era and with Ray's era there were SO MANY ATG's that he had to pick the ones that had the best records.

    Pryor would have got outboxed, broken down & knocked spark out.

    Hearns got stopped prime vs prime.

    Duran quit because Leonard was embarassing him like none of his 72 opponents before ever did.

    Hagler was out-thought, out-boxed & beaten fair & square vs a better boxer, period.

    And yes, Leonard admitted Hearns should have got the decision (in the past prime match), something Manny has never done, its called showing respect to a fellow great fighter.

    How are they a big step below? If anything, Hagler is right below SRL.

    Hagler was a better fighter than either Floyd or Pac.

    pac destroyed morales 2 times!! SRL wins against Duran because of Duran's lazyness after his big win in their 1st fight.

    JMM's counterpunching is the perfect antidote to Pac's offensive style. And yet Pac fought him without the ducking and waiting.

    it was a very hard choice. I voted for whitaker but i think hagler, leonard are just as great

    Duran was still celebrating & was lazy after the first fight.... but yet Morales looked sharp as a razor vs Raheem at the higher weight & was the exact same fighter that fought Pac in the first fight after cutting down to 130 again, right ? :roll:

    Talk about twisting things to suit your own agenda.

    You dont speak about the fact that Ray Leonard was just an outright more skilled & plain better fighter than Pacquiao could ever dream of being.

    It's a fact that SRL ducks a dirrect challenge from Pryor. It's just like Floyd ducking a direct challenge from Pac.

    Pac respect all fighters he's beaten. Only JMM is the one acting like a cry baby. If jmm could've only beaten floyd, pac will give him another chance. but he didnt!!

    SRL was the Greatest of the 80s!!! but Pac was still the Greater fighter overall!! If only you guys can flush out Floyd in his hiding hole and forced him to fight Pac, then we can settle this with that beatdown from Pac.
