I watched Leonard vs. Hagler as a Hagler fan & I have to admit, Leonard won. In retrospect Hagler was a bit one dimensional dontcha' think? It showed against SRL that night anyway............

So, let me get this **** right.... a few posts back you say JMM & his counter-punching is the perfect antidote to deal with Pac.... but now you are predicting Pac would beatdown Mayweather, who does everything JMM does good a lot better ?

Your hardon for Pacquiao is embarassing... to even put him on a par with Leonard deserves a slap but you have gone the extra mile by claiming he is better.

Ps. If you havent seen Leonard fight then you shouldnt have commented, it just makes you sound clueless tbh.

true... morales gets lazy with raheem, that's why he lost that fight. just look at morales body in that fight, he looked soft.

but the morales that fought pac in the rematch was hungry again and better conditioned. that's why morales won a few rds in that fight.

who has more FOTY awards? srl or pac? Who has more belts in diffrent weight classes?

Ray Leonard. This isn't even a question. Although there are some great fighters mentioned. Sugar came out of the fab four fighting everyone else and only losing once to an inspired Duran. How many others have the same resume? Or fought and beat as many legends? Surprised Lennox Lewis didn't make the vote?

going to go back and read the other pages, but i wanted to post my thoughts uninfluenced...this is a brutal question and i would have trouble seperating leonard, jones and whitaker. any order with those 3 (likely leonard on top but i'm a jones nuthugger) suits me. followed closely by chavez and hagler

That makes him a better fighter ?... different era`s have different fighters of different strengths to compete against + there are more belts & divisions these days.

I shouldnt have to tell you this to be fair, it really is basic common knowledge.

Leonard beat more highly ranked ATG fighters, was more skilled & complete & wasnt stopped twice by body shots in his younger days.... we could go round in circles but the fact is... now listen carefully.....

Ray Leonard was far superior to Manny Pacquiao.

    End of, simple !

I respectfully disagree being a big Lewis fan, I would not of voted for him if included though, I'm a big Jones Jr fan but have to say Lewis resume is better! But each to their own bro... Except for when someone says Pac is better than Leonard, for me Leonard will be the closest you'll get to the original "Sugar" and the only fighter fit to fight under that name, I heard someone say Pac would oust Robinson as p4p all time no.1 the other day LOL

    SRL...

But RJJ was right up there and if only he had taken the likes of the DM fight and Benn, Eubank etc and say a Adamek and then quit after Ruiz he would be my number 1 as to watch him at his best he was something else.

But even though I think he would have thrashed all those guys and that his ability was on a par with SRL he did not take the fights he could and should have, whereas SRL tested himself against the best out there and also had the better chin.

Also I'd like to see Pacquiao find Sweetpea before beating him...

Pac has improved more after the jmm fight. He knows he's fighting bigger guys in the highr weight classes, so he change his game plans to be better defensively. Did u saw how Pac dominates biggers guys back to back to back?

Even Floyd saw that too and cant believe it. That is the reason we are witnessing the ducking of the century!!!

I saw Leonard in his Prime live on TV!! I got mad at him when he ducks Hagler for years and gone to a fake vacation!!

Hmmm where's Floyd now?? On Vacation? I hope Floyd will eventually fight Pac and dare to be Great as SRL!! Unfortunately for Floyd...He will be facing maybe one of the Greatest ever!!

Listen to this Kid... He understand the situation more than any of the *****s:[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A09IbWjRoU0[/ame]

Listen at :08 "He's the best man ever in Boxing"!!
