    Most forget that is the Ellis fight Jimmy had Shavers badly hurt and was going in for the kill when he walked into a home run punch.
    The Shavers - Roy Williams fight was a crazy back and forth fight, that could have been stopped a couple of times. Roy had Shavers beaten into submission when Earnie received a standing eight count. Shavers rallied against a totally fatigued Williams to stop him with 20 seconds left. Roy "Tiger" Williams was a dangerous fighter, yet somehow managed to lose to Richard Dunn, Jeff Merrit, Henry Clark.
    Point being Shavers would go like and death with a lot of fringe contenders.
