I said Garcia, but Bradley is a good one as well. I guess it really comes down to who do you consider a better fighter, Bradley or Garcia? I'd take Cotto over both, so I guess they are the answers.
You're acting like he clearly beat Mosley. I had it a draw. I've heard some people who scored it 7-5 Mosley, and even that's acceptable. 7-5 Cotto is also fine. I believe Harold Lederman's scorecard was also a draw. Mosley had all the momentum in his favor at the end of the fight... over the YOUNGER fighter. It wasn't exactly the most impressive win, and Mosley was six years removed from his prime.
So Dubble, perhaps I should have said, the best fighter you'd pick Cotto to CLEARLY beat. Because yes, even 2007 Mosley was a better fighter than Thurman. But I personally don't consider that fight much of win for Cotto... Shane should have been granted a rematch as well.
Yeah. Why would you consider it much of a win? He just fought him and won, after all. (Good Lord.) Was this just a Cotto bashing thread? I thought you actually wanted to talk boxing? I'm out.
Not a Cotto bashing thread at all. I never hated Cotto. Was neutral on Cotto his entire career - neither a fan nor a detractor. So, perhaps 2007 Mosley is in fact the answer.
Actually, at 140 I think my answer is Hatton. I always said Cotto would have taken Hatton apart at 140.
