theres been many upsets over the years in the heavyweight division such as: clay vs liston tyson vs douglas schmeling vs louis and more. on those nights everything seemed to become 'just right' for many of these underdogs. taking the many underdogs that scored unexpected victories on their particular night, how would they of faired against eachother. for example: douglas[when he beat tyson] vs schmeling[when he beat louis] rachman[lewis] vs clay[liston]. that type of thing. who would eventually become the better 'winners', the better fighters, after facing all the other underdogs, all at their 'peak' so to speak? the underdogs can only be judged on those particular nights, not what happened to them for the rest of their careers, just that one night. maybe the top 5?
Tokyo Douglas is the single most amazing mere mortal to ever step into the ring as a heavyweight. The speed and footwork of Ali, the power punching of Earnie Shavers, the only man over 200 that can really do the best defensive work of a prime Willie Pep/Pernell Whitaker. He had the chin of George Chuvalo and the pure will and stamina of Marciano. He also had an enormous **** and shot fireballs out of his ass, on command. But, alas, I digress, as using either of those tools is illegal in the ring. Very, very illegal.
