You're understandably biased here but I'll offer couple others with far more overall young boxing talent being developed at the moment. San Juan, D.F., Dublin, New York, Philadelphia.

Montreal: Lucian Bute, David Lemiuex, Librado Andrade, Jean Pascal. (Don't know or care if they're under 30.)

Montreal's got a really good fight scene from what I understand.

I disagree with the idea that the Bay Area will dominate boxing in the future due to its good young boxers. Ward in particular has said he wants to get out early, and nobody outside of hardcore fans knows Donaire, which suggests he won't stick around long either because he'll be forced to move up in weight and take fights he can't win. Guerrerro I know nothing about. And the thesis of this thread is extremely narrow and very weak.

    P.S.
I don't understand how Donaire is ranked 6th p4p , yet 7th in his division by the Ring.

Actually i dont think you are a hardcore fan cause every real boxing fan knows who Guerrero is, and Nonito got a pfp ranking by knocking out Vic Darchinyan who was a PFP top guy when Nonito knocked him out.
You also are trying to steal Liberado Andrade from Los Angeles area where he was raised but born in Mexico. Also Montreal is Butes adopted home he really is Romanian, ill give you Pascal sinced he was raised in Canada.

I'm not the most hardcore fan and I freely admit it haha. I also know how Donaire got his rating and I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it. I'm saying it makes no sense for him to be rated #7 in his division, with Darchinyan who he beat at #1. If that makes sense to you, more power to ya and I'd like some of whatever you're smoking.

I know where Andrade and Bute are from, but the fact is they train in Montreal. So if fighters gravitate there, there must be something good about it. I've never been to Montreal or Canada myself, I'm just saying that if we're talking about metro areas with a lot of good fighters, Montreal's worth mentioning.

I'm not sure what you're whining about. Montreal's been mentioned and I reacted to it. I acknowledged it as one of the two or three best replies to this thread. The fact that you are a lamen in boxing yet you go out of your way to argue with me is narrow and weak. One other thing, I don't make the Ring Magaziine rankings. Direct your questions about Ring Magazine rankings to Ring Magazine please.

THe reason he is ranked 7 at JB is cause he hasnt fought there much he beat Darchinyan at Flyweight. Nonito is rated abouve him though on the PFP rankings. Make sense?

Well if Andrade is from Montreal, Then Vitali is from LA as he lives here and sometimes trains here, as well as fought here recently:D

You complain about everybody dissing your city and not answering the thread, ive done so twice on the Los Angeles area, and no response. Guess youd rather have posters talking about the Bay area being Homoville?

Come on now. Read the last couple of sentences of the thread's first post. You think I've never heard of L.A.?
