Clottey had his guard up the entire fight Turbo. You have a problem with guys using high guard effectively?? Or does everyone just have a conniption if Floyd isn't said to have the best defense for everyone?

Interviews don't get published immediately. Each BIF interview would be reserved for certain editions.

Maybe, depends on how they fought. THAT is how you need to look at this. Just just go, "well...Floyd ha better defense....this is wrong."

NO....look at each fight individually. NONE OF THIS means Clotey had better defense then Floyd. NONE OF THIS means Cotto was a smarter fighter than floyd. It's the matchups FFS....

They are having kittens despite not knowing when this interview was taken. Ring should have done this thing after Ugas.

You don’t know that, and I highly doubt any media outlet, especially Ring magazine, securing such a high profile interview and then sitting on it. You have the ****ing bare arsed faced cheek to accuse me of not using my brain? You’re a double digiter.

    Wow...

Covering up for survival isn’t great defense. Making your opponent miss and punishing them when they do is great defense. Fundamental knowledge.

Cotto wasn’t smart against Pac, he walked into everything.

You probably don't have a functioning brain. Apologies for asking you to use it.

Anybody with the witty moniker ‘Clenelo Anavarez’ doesn’t immediately command respect, especially when they can’t fathom that major media outlets wouldn’t sit on a highly prized media interview with the second biggest boxer of his generation for months on end. Don’t bother me again tit.

Are you shitting me??? The high guard is a great defense. No, making your opponent miss is simply different style. Fundamental knowledge would be to LOOK AT THE FIGHTS. Not just whine over who was better overall in a particular stat... Jesus ....

We should all be focussing on Bojado here, though. Bojado was a complete bust. That'd be like Trinidad saying the best he fought was David Reid.

If you think Clottey’s high guard against Pac was great defense then I don’t know what to tell you.

If you don't think it was great and effective, you don't know what the **** you are watching. Yeah, Winky Wright has **** for defense too...right??

Look at the punches landed stats and the fact that Wright’s peekaboo style involved counter punching and actually smothering his opponent’s offense and then I’ll ask you what the hell were you watching all those years?
