This is my vote for the best photo ever taken in a boxing ring. Even better than the worldwide famous shot of Ali standing over Liston during their rematch.

When I viewed this photo on a memorabilia site a couple of years ago I thought it was an artist who had sketched it. I couldn't believe it when I realised it was actually a photo taken after a fight had just ended.

It's Basilio celebrating his knockout over DeMarco.

The reason I have included two is that the smaller version above is dark in the right areas. Look at the light glaring over the referee or trainers back. Basilio estatic as DeMarco is attended to on the canvas. None of the fighters take centre stage here as the trainer or referee clearly does. But it's such a unique and effective photo. Astonishing.

This photo shall never be equalled, far less bettered.

Ah, brilliant choice. Believe it or not I said exactly the same thing about a year ago. That'd be on my wall if I could get it.

I can get you it signed by Basilio with COA and photo of signing. 8 x 10 or 16 x 20 for a great price. Supplied by one of the biggest suppliers of boxing memorabilia in the world.
