I am in my right mind. I had Pea by 1 round when I saw it LIVE in San Antonio. I had Pea by two rounds when I watched the replay. A lot of close rounds. The ones that Pea won were more emphatic but not 10-8 emphatic. I don't find a draw to be an outrageous robbery by any stretch. That is an American press fiction.

    It isn't.

I'm British, and Whitaker absolutely won and there was no doubt about it.

    It was a robbery.

Disagree. Pea schooled him. Not sure what the "American Press" thing has to do with it, people of many nationalities saw this for what it was.

I'm a far bigger fan of Chavez than Whitaker but Pea clearly won that fight 8-4/9-3.

It was a late stage masterclass by a fight weary, almost shopworn, overweight God against one of the most difficult defensive southpaws ever in his absolute, sterling prime and at a comfortable weight. That is what it was.

Chavez deserves accolades not derision for holding Pea to a draw.

He might, if it really deserved to be called a draw.

British don't understand New World fighting. That has been proven for time immemorial, and is proven here once again.

It was within the range of acceptability and reason.

Well I've seen the fight numerous times, and I like both fighters. But Whitaker won the fight clearly, without any doubt in my mind.

But I'm not going to debate it, as it's your opinion and your entitled to it. But your the first person I've seen that thinks Chavez had a case for a draw.

I guess that's the essence of the argument.
