Haha!! :) that was a cool gift to give to your pops.
It was fun but I've actually seen pros spar & was better or AM fights that were better really. Crawfy was on the undercard & there were actually a lot of boos/disgruntled fans. When Cotton stopped D-Rod it was cool but kind of premature.
Better than going to a magic game tho imo

Nice Thurman-Porter was a solid match up.

Wasn't Lara on that undercard too? I've always wanted to see him live (even if most find him boring)

Never mind got Lara mixed up with Crawford in my last post. Just remember telling him to "watch for this guy on the undercard"

This year I attended Fury vs Wallin, Loma vs Campbell and Ritson vs Davies - had an amazing time at each but think for the Vegas experience and the drama I'd have to edge to the Fury fight. The other two would probably be better to watch back, but at the time was fantastic to watch in the flesh

Oh yeah, Crawford's preformance was a shut out but people were not happy. Really defensive boxing that night.

Margarito-Cotto 1. I'd been telling everyone on the forum Tony would beat Cotto & got ridiculed by many. That was a hell of a performance Tony took all Cotto had then came on & beat the heck out of him LEGITIMATELY.
Who was to know that Tony's great win would end up causing him his career & good name

Nigel Benn V Gerald McClellan at the Docklands Arena. Electric atmosphere but there was literally something evil in the air that night. The crowd wanted blood and it was the closest thing I could imagine to watching gladiators at the colosseum

Not the best fight I have been to, but definitely one of the most memorable experiences.

Detroit for the Arthur Abraham vs Andre Dirrell Super 6 bout at Joe Louis Arena. I was sitting with a bunch of dudes from Flint, some of which were extended family or friends of Andre's. Man when Abraham hit Dirrell illegally and he was laying on the mat, I feared for the Abraham team's lives. All these dudes immediately rushed the ring and it all hit the fan so quick. The mood in the arena got violent real quick, which in Detroit of all places is not a good thing to be around. It was just my girl and I there together and we got out of there with a quickness!

Joshua vs Povetkin. At first the English were very confident but they began to doubt after the end of the first round. They exulted when Povetkin went to the floor and there was a sudden church silence when he got up. They did not believe their eyes.

Maidana vs Broner in the Alamodome was by far the best atmosphere live for me.. I live in Houston do it was a 2 hr drive but it was well worth it.. A lot of fans was excited the AB was getting humbled and the Mexican fans made Chino an honorary Mexican for life after that..

Haha!!! The hype type of switching to roach. Some were saying with Roach, Cotto received a 2nd wind & would've beaten Mayweather
