    Norton was the best, Seldon the worse.

    What I was referring to, was that Ken lost his first defence after being given it, rather than winning it. Not sure with Seldon, as he did win the title in the ring and had one successful defence before the Tyson blowout.

    With respect to Tua, there are far more qualified people who are more deserving of this distinction than a man who was simply unable to win a belt.

    Both Harry Wills and Sam Langford come to mind.


    Seldon never won the lineal title.

    Some actually possible fights:

    Tommy Burns would likely lose against Sam Langford around 1908.
    Jess Willard would likely lose against Harry Wills.
    Leon Spinks would likely lose to Ken Norton.
    Many fighters would likely beat Shannon Briggs.
    Vitali Klitschko would likely beat Hasim Rahman.
