Some might say Hamed, or maybe even the first Morales fight, but I'm going to pick the rubber match with Morales. After the first two controversial fights, Barrera moved up and won a close war with Morales to settle the score. Barrera was a little more controlled than the first fight, but more aggressive than he was in the rematch. Barrera was supposed to be on the way down but he pulled off the upset. Erik Morales
You really thought Chavez 2 was impressive? I didn't think it was too impressive. Chavez wasn't really effective above 140, and he was 36 anyway and about a decade past his peak. Oscar traded more than expected, which gave Chavez more opportunities and allowed him to get more offense going, but still...I'd consider performances such as Ruelas, Gonzalez, Rivera, Vargas, Hernandez, etc...better ones than this one.
Since everyone has ignored this one I'll bite; Dave Charnley, one of Britains best never to win a world title, an excellent all rounder and a great win for Brown. Ray Robinson
Carl Daniels. Brilliant display of combination punching and accuracy against a pretty good southpaw contender. Sonny Liston
