Uchiyama is digging the left hook to the body. Vasquez is throwing combos up top, on his toes. Vasquez backs up to the ropes, left arm cradled at his side and right arm planked up to his face, Mayweather style. Uchiyama stalks and slides inside with lead hooks. HARD double hook and a scooping uppercut to the body by Uchiyama. Vasquez throws a 1-2 into the guard and backs up. Uchiyama times him with another hard body shot. Uchiyama presses the attack and gets - DROPPED?!? Nah, ruled a slip. Vasquez flurried at his face just as he went down, though. Uchiyama digs some vicious hooks to the body. Vasquez lands a counter hook to the head of Uchiyama, snapping it to one side. Another body shot by Uchiyama.

Uchiyama is pushing forward with his forearms out and jabbing. Vasquez takes a few steps back, flurries, and circles off. The ref warns them both to watch their heads inside. Vasquez keeps tossing quick looping lariats and jabs while moving on the outside. Uchiyama isn't getting close as consistently, and is taking Vasquez's left hook every time he rips his to the body.
