I think Joes a bad style for Hagler and decisions him.
Hearns is awkward but Joe pours it on for the stoppage.
    Leonard is too small.
Benn and Collins are too wreckless and get picked apart.
Eubank gets much of the same as he did. He'd take another round or so but still loses the decision clear.

I think a more mature Calzaghe ie the one that has fought over the last three years would have beaten them all, this version would have had overall better ring intelligence, skills, bloody mindedness and stamina than all of them.
I just think if you look at his attributes he has all the combined talents of all of them bar the KO power of Benn and Benn was most effective as a puncher at middleweight he had trouble exerting his power on Eubanks and Watson.

If you look at Benn he used to get worn out through his non stop fighting style in later rounds Joe would've had him looking ragged.

Sugar Ray leonard no doubt a legend at lighter weights but too small.

Hagler and Hearns cant see them being as effective at 168 and I think Benn could've beaten Hearns without doubt and maybe Hagler.

Calzaghe has already beaten Eubanks enough said!

I know, i realised when i posted it, i didnt mean him as a great, just the case that he played in the Benn Eubank wars.....

Its was just two eras i wanted to touch upon thats all.

I just think the boxing brain of Calzaghe has evolved over time and if he had fought toe to toe with some of the guys mentioned he may have lost or they would have been close calls, with the adaption of style he has more advantages. When I said over 3 years I meant the Lacey fight as an example where his lack of power wasnt too noticeable, the kessler performance wasn't too bad it is just the Hopkins fight that Joe has looked powerless really so I want to judge him on his next fight to see how he looks in that!
If he hadn't have lost that power then perhaps he woulndn't have displayed the nous that he has demonstrated in recent times!
I don't know he just seems to be unlike any fighter ive seen in that respect, the way he has evolved and kept winning is incredible really!
