Nikita Maisak (5-0, 5 KO, age 21) is a powerful puncher and stands 6'10". Ergun Mersin (4-0, 4 KO, age 21) is another one to watch.
Checking out Rivas now. Hmmm. He reminds me a lot of Seth Mitchell, but with less speed, less power, and even less defense. Not terrible, but nothing to get excited about right now.
With modern science and fighters fighting in the ams till their mid 20s, and fighters fighting less than 4 fights/yr.....a prospect could literally brought along until he's in his early 30s before he makes a run. Theres nothing wrong with calling Mago a prospect, or Glaskov or Jennings. All are over 26 and all are coming along nicely. Hell, Jennings was unheard of until his 13th fight, but now he's a bonafide fringe contender.....much the way Chisora jumped into mainstream boxing when he was the only willing talent to sign to fight Wlad for Dec 2010.:think
there is this big dude fighting the degale card i believe on saturday. hes like 7'2" but hes like 37. hes making his pro debut. hes the biggest fighter ever they say
Jennings promoter, David Peltz took my advice and tried to get Jennings the fight with Szpilka on the Wach/Feilds UC. UBP(?), Spilka's ppl and his trainer(him) turned it down, instead wanting a diet of fat, slow, chinachins to pad his record further. Peltz, knowing Jennings was gaining huge fan support, decided to test his young charge against hard punching solid former titlist Liakovich. It was a major risk, but Jennings, unlike Szpilka, took the test and ACED it....punishing Liakovich from the first bell to the last bell. Ding to ding, post to post. WAAAAARRRRRR Jennings.
So the made up story of Szpilka "ducking' Jennings comes from you. No wonder why i never read or heard anything about it other than from you.
Is he from Scandanavia? I heard about big guy from up there Norway, Sweden, Finland or or somewhere N of the UK who was supposed to be turning pro. He looked the part, but I aint heard nothing bout him since then. Supposed to break the record or some ****. What's this MANS name?:think
Morten Poulsen? He's actually fighting on a small hall show in Denmark next week. Plus he's 37 so not really much time on his hands
