Last i read Hari is returning to Kickboxing. Guess he realized he sucked and was too much of a ***** to even attempt it lol
Kyotaro could really be a breath of fresh of air, tough guy, very solid whilst his technique isn't great I expect he'll learn a lot this year and hopefully round off into more of a boxer.
Kyotaro is the K1 guy who is a very promising Heavyweight and holds a victory over Le Banner (though it was controversial). He's supposed to be a proper tough SOB and although he's on the short side he's talented and beating decent tests for a complete novice.
Kyotaro beat Clarence Tillman (KO3) in midweek and has moved up the Boxrec rankings (now 202), not bad for a 4 fight novice heavyweight...from Japan! He turns 26 tomorrow so he has a lot of time to climb to the top. We at boxing prospects will be following him closely so I'll update this every time he fights.
RIvas is a beast. Won at 19 the silver medal at the panam. And is lost, at 18, at the olympic was against the guy who finally won the gold medal.
Wlad already tore through a wave of contenders....Brock,Chambers,Thompson,Peter..etc. Some of todays top contenders will get exposed within 5 years. After them will come another wave and so on.....
It's a shame that the last set of contenders didn't really fight each other to make a name for themselves. It's one of the things you have to like when you get fights like Adamke/Chambers or Adamek/Arreola
Thanks for posting the link. We've got to just admit that Kyotaro Fujimoto has just turned 26. We will however continue to follow him as we are highly impressed by him so far.
I've just seen Kyotaro for the first time as a boxer [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F1OlfczaSI[/ame] He looks pretty decent, hard to see how good he'll become but this was just his second boxing bout. He may find that his lack of height could cause him problems but he looks very good for what was a 2-fight novice in that bout.
After being shelved by DK for 2.5 years Aussie Mark Demori has finally got sick of waiting and strung 3 wins together against admittedly B level opposition. Agreed to Stiverne fight for June but Stiverne got injured. Great prospect and as committed as they come. In talks for a Vegas headline fight in Sept/Oct [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86staIAiatw"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86staIAiatw[/ame]
