    Tarver was like 38 and had to cut a bunch of weight after the Rocky movie. If you want to treat that version of Tarver like a prime version, leave me out of it.

    No he didn't. Both were close fights. He lost, and struggled to somebody who's very similar and nowhere near as good as Tiger.

    Dick Tiger rallied late against the much bigger Antonio Tarver in as thrilling a sight as this tournament has produced. Tiger was down off a massive 1-2 in the ninth but what seemed a near fight-ending disaster seemed to rally him and through the fifteenth, he dominated the fight thereafter, Tarver forced to hold on in the fifteenth and clearly discomforted by Tiger's bodyattack.

    I'm about as big of a Tiger fan as you will find on this forum and I don't see the 167 pound guy that edged Torres beating a prime Tarver. Oh well, like McGrain said, the people have spoken.
