Nah,there's holes in lewis's loyalty i think. The interviewer after the rock 2 fight actually said to him after a long winded interview " Have'nt you got anything to say to all your british fans ". I think he was a blatant con job.All the" his british and his bad" shite comin from pepe correa. Now dont think i'm knockin the boxer mate !

I think when a guy is born here, when his family live here, when he carried our flag into the ring, then he is a legitimate Brit. But you're entitled to your opinion, as well. I think given these facts though, it is basically up to Lennox to say what he is and who he is representing, he said he was British, and wanted to represent Britain, if it is good enough for the Queen of England, then it is good enough for me.

Calzaghe V Lacy that was a classic especially when you read pre-fight predictions on some boxing websites where there pundits where saying Lacy by KO inside 6 Lacy will crush him etc brilliant fight.

Yeah they were all saying Grant was the man to beat Lewis.

I remeber for months leading up to that fight I told anyone who talked about that fight with me

    Lewis to win KO 1

    Styles make fights

Plus Grant was as green as grass compared to Lewis

and deluded........saying some prayer to heaven is going to make him have a miracle and beat Lewis like Holyfield did to Tyson

if you need God on your side as your only hope to win.............you obviously dont belong in the same ring as the other guy

I didnt quite get the prediction right

    but so nearly did

in the end Lewis KO 2

but the fight went exactly how I thought it would

    :good

I said this back in the day on ESB and copped a load of **** for it. The guy won Gold for Canada not GB. When he was supposed to fight Kirk and Vitali stepped in instead, he said it would be for Canadian bragging right!! LL much like Foreman was a good fighter but most of what came out of his mouth was rubbish. I mean he only turned pro here because the US was stacked at heavy. In the final decade of his career he only fought here less than a handful of times against Bruno McCall and Botha.Other than that the majority and most significant portion of his career was spent in the US. Not a problem really but he was hardly British. I couldnt care less if he was born in West Ham. LL was about as cockney as the Asian man that owns the cornershop at the top of my road.

The fact that Grant was just standing there asking for it made it even sweeter.
Watching the replay I reckon Grant was crapping his pants from the beginning, just like Enzo did against Haye. He seemed to gas almost immediately after his first attack, whilst Lewis appeared to not even be a bit out of breath at the end. He could have beaten 10 Michael Grants in a row that night.

I thought exactly the same,it was man against boy....illustrated by the way Lewis managed to blindside the ref, hold Grants head with his left before putting him to sleep with a sweet, sweet short right uppercut. Nasty stuff :hey

Its got to be Honeyghan over the cobra. Todays equivelant of that would be Gavin Rees beating Mayweather. lol (no disrespect to Gavin)
