What do you guys think are some of the best performances from the all time greats?

Not their most important win, but their best performance. For example Ali's bout with Williams.

Foreman is a hard call between Norton and Frazier 1

I would also put Louis vs. Max Baer

Charlie Goldman said the Rex Layne fight was Marciano's 'perfect fight' never once had to tell him he was doing anything wrong or change anything he was doing etc apparently did everything perfectly as he wanted him to without having to really give him any advice etc

Pryor v Arguello 1. Despite the "bottle controversy" Pryor answered every single question we have about a fighter:
    - Can he jab, move and box?
    - Can he sustain a high workrate offense late into fights?
    - Can he take a good punch?
    - Can he brawl and pressure?
    - Can he fight on the inside?
    - Can he be flexible in his fight strategy?
    - Does he have good finishing skills ?
And most importantly can he do all of the above against ATG competition?

To me its one of the most near perfect performances and a lot of that is due to how competitive the fight was. Arguello pushed and pushed forcing Pryor to show all his skills.

Many of my choices have already been made so I'll add Kalambay vs McCallum, McCallum vs Watson and Jones vs Toney. And, yeah, Whitaker vs Chavez. Duran vs Barkley, also. Pac vs Margarito/Barrera/Hatton, Tyson vs Spinks... There are so many really once you get started.

    Also Ali vs Frazier 1st,
Sometimes lost in the result is the Superb effort a Rusty Ali put forward against an absolute Peak Joe Frazier
