Good post. However Ketchel should have been above Zale. And I believe that Adamek will surpass Zale in a next few months Thats impressive. Can you imagine any today's MW decking any of the Klitschko bros? Or even David Haye Quite impossible.
I thought we produced awful fighters but Poland manages to top us, Adamek and Golota, oh dear. The hype and the thug.
Native born, if he keeps up his winning ways, it would be Adamek..Polish American, it would be Ketchel followed by Zale.
Well, let's see. Adamek, WBC Light Heavyweight This content is protected , IBF Cruiserweight This content is protected , Ring Cruiserweight This content is protected , Ring top ten ranked heavyweight, 41-1. Golota, Olympic Bronze Medalist, WBC Heavyweight title This content is protected , IBF heavyweight title This content is protected , WBA Heavyweight title This content is protected , WBO Heavyweight title This content is protected , 41-8-1. What criteria are you going by, man? Do title challenges count more than wins or does the bronze medal count more than championships?:? Two-division titlist, same amount of wins but in three different weight classes, less losses...just-...I mean-...wha-...???
Exactaly. Adamek surpassed Golotas legacy that night he won the WBC title....Also the night Brewster killed him
Adamek is also european championships bronze medalist.... Nothing big, but shows he was a decent ameteur too.
To be completely fair to Gołota, the Byrd fight was an outright robbery. He should have won that fight hands down, therefore catching the HW title. Then there was the Ruiz fight, which was closer, but none the less Gołota got jobbed in that fight as well. :-(
