Not only Hatton isn't Hall of Fame material, he doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with some of the current greats. His first real fight against a prime elite fighter and he was humiliated. Afterwards, his career went on a downspiral, or so it looked. In truth... Hatton remained the same, it's just that later on, he was showed up for what he trully was. Not really a great.

A B level boxer. Now don't get me wrong, B stands for very very good. But not on par with Pacq, Floyd, Shane, Cotto, Paul Williams...

LMAO wtf are you talking about

Cotto was never the man in his division, picking up vacant belts...

PW is a 6'2 freak fighting at 147, and he has yet to become number 1 in any division hes fought in

At least hatton beat the man to become the man (regardless of variables), hatton was clear number 1 at his division, somthing neither cotto or pw can say... So stop your hating

Cotto beat Shane Mosley, Cotto beat Clottey. Cotto beat Zab Judah. Cotto was an unstoppable force at 140. Hatton... well Hatton fought Floyd and lasted how many, 8 rounds? Good fighter, not a great fighter.

One thing which Hatton did achieve is robbing Colazo off a valid win. Sorry, but he's no great.

I have put PAC as an example only ... if you just throw the names
then give more of your knowledge and put the record straight ...
so show you pre 1998 mastery or at least help yourselves with boxrec.

lol clottey? is that the type of fighters you gotta beat?

Cotto was lucky not to lose at 140 and is so over rated. He lost against clottey but won the decision.

Hatton was the man at 140, something cotto never did, he only fought vacate belts. Judah was finished when cotto fought him and again good fighter at best.

Hatton has achieved more and was even the ring champ. LOL at cotto being unstoppable comment, now I know you are on crack. He refused to fight the number 1 140 at the time in Hatton. fought none world class boxers in their current state. wait he did fight 2 and lost to both.

ALl cotto has done was fight mostly b level fighters and moved from 140 after nearly being k0d again

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Quote of the ****ing year here

Cotto is the most overrated fighter on this board...

How come cotto gets props for the zab win, but people say floyd is a cherry picker for fighting zab :think

seriously, defending your wbo belt against b level comp and almost getting KOED twice, while refusing the fight the number guy(hatton) is being an unstoppable force??? I wonder what you call an imovable object? Amir khans chin?? :rofl:rofl:rofl

    lol?? :rofl

Hatton is lucky he didn't stick around 147lbs to fight Cotto, he would have gotten schooled and broken down quite easily.
