    p4p or not?
Duran or Liston, maybe Foreman but his swings were too wide, in a street fight its about landing frst. Jack dempsey was fierce too

These are my two picks, too. They'd absolutely destroy the likes of Sullivan and Dempsey.

    1) MMA fighters should know better than to trade punches with a boxer. Sylvia was an idiot
    2) Mercer was a hard puncher
    3) I've seen too many strikers taken down and embarrassed to imagine a boxer / kickboxer has much of a chance against an all-round fighter.

Now, if you take a top boxer and give him an intensive 6 month clinic on avoiding the takedown ... that could well be another story.

6 months to learn to avoid a takedown? woowee I would hope it wouldn't take more than a couple weeks tops to learn how to avoid a takedown

When it comes to street fighting fear and nerves come into play. In boxing you have an entire training camp to prepare. In a street fight you have to think instantaneously.

Dempsey and Sullivan were tough. I'd put Marciano or Liston up there to.

Tyson. His speed, power, biting and other miscellaneous fouls would be unstoppable.
