He's a great striker, but the best guy in striking sports isn't always the best striker in MMA, same for wrestling, same for Judo, and BJJ.
not true k-1 is a promotion that has had manny mma bouts they also use to have heros which was run by k-1 and on the new years eve shows they often have had mma. but ernesto has never done mma just kick boxing.
that may be true ill give ya that. nog has great bjj for mma but isnt that great in bjj toruneys i mean he got knee bared easy by ricco in ADCC. who would be your pick for the best striker in mma. here are my top candidates rambaa somdet anderson silva mark hunt cro cop melvin manheof moe smith
Good list, maybe add Bang Ludwig [yt]AFMsuMvHY1A[/yt] Thiago Alves [yt]DWD4bxI-mYg[/yt] Spencer Fisher Remigijus Morkevicius [yt]FCwJdAuLNLY[/yt]
i wouldnt say penn simply because the only thing he has is his jab. i dont see him throw many combos or kicks. he has a bad ass jab which is an underated and not often used tool in mma, but his over all striking isnt that great. noons is good alves is good but clearly a roider, bang are good additions.
Hero's was run by FEG as a separate MMA promotion from K-1 etc. FEG also own K-1 and Dream. Not Hero's run by K-1 i think. The end of year shows are actually FEG cards bringing all their major promotions together. It is probably put under the name K-1 because it is better known and an established org.
from my understanding feg is the corporation that ownes k-1 much like dse owned pride and seg use to own ufc and how zuffa now dose. i also thought that feg owned and ran heros an off shoot of k-1. dream is a combination of feg and dse staff that im sure about.
