Distance is probably the biggest one. The lenses used in those camera obscure space, and distort distance.

The easiest excercise to see this is by looking at the odd shape/layout of the ring through 30's camera.

It is about technique not defense.

you are free to be a keyboard warrior criticising the techniques honed from by the undisputed champions of the universe and their decades of boxing too, I dont fail to notice that.

Yep. It is Louis by a mile. Louis put his punches together, Wlad only throws 1 or two punches at a time. Wlad has never learnt proper punching technique on the inside.

Well, if you are above having opinions on boxers what are you doing on this board? Is it for the company only?

I'm not above writing anything I choose to.

Choice is imperative. People read what you right, and assess you on that.

Ok... That just meant absolutely nothing, but good for you.

Obviously you have criticized fighters many, many times here - despite not being a professional fighter yourself. It's only when someone else do it in a manner you don't like that that person becomes a presumptuous "keyboard warrior". In short: you are a hypocrite.

i'm glad you've confirmed that it means nothing to you, which is why you write what you write.

i give balanced opinions eg cowardzazghe, relatively poor accuracy and power combined with awesome output and good handspeed, herculean matchingmaking and leftie akwardness plus a fanbase starved of success - truths.

Thats nothing like offering a blindasfuk blanket definition on old timers in general.

But... I haven't though. If you actually bothered to read before spouting nonsense, you'd see that I voted Louis as the technically best of these fighters. And I haven't commented any fighter before Louis's time in this thread.

So, I'm not sure what you thought you read.

thats ok then, but it would be odd indeed for you to criticise louis, greatest fighter of all time.

No, it wouldn't. No one is perfect. I've criticized Ali, for example, who in my mind probably was greater than Louis.

What is odd is that someone would come up with derogatory nicknames for fighters like Calzaghe (who the F*CK are you to call him a coward?), just because he doesn't like his style or match-making choices. Now that is being keyboard warrior pathetic.

I have tremendous respect for all these men for what they risked and achieved in the ring. That I sometimes can find faults with some things they did technically or tactically doesn't change that one bit.

its cowardzaghe, not coward. no need to convert his common internet nickname into a genuine insult, thank you.

This is your problem, you go TOO FAR.

sometimes is ok, but you've objectively gone out of your way to make the HW champ a buffoon with rudimentary skills.
Note I didnt do anything like that to cowardzaghe, I was completely fair.

seems u've destroyed yourself by your breaking your own standards..

You couldn't give it to him could you , you just had to get Wlad in there somehow:facepalm:

And fyi , Wlad had mediocre defence which is why he resorted to illegal back breakers throughout his whole career.

Stripped of his illegal clinch he got his ears boxed off by 18 fight novice Joshua.

Is Foreman the HW champ you mean? I've said that he had flaws in his technique, but never called him rudimentary or a buffoon. Or meant to imply that. Nor would I. You call a pro fighter "Cowardzaghe" without ever been in a pro fight yourself, and you say that I go too far? Man, oh man.

I knew you to be a poor poster, but this is borderline insane.
