So true, his only defense is leaning backwards which can only go so far like you said. But his footwork is funny though XD
Golota is the king of unconventionals Jab, straight, hook, overhand to the body and then uppercut to the nuts Jab, hook, uppercut, overhand to the body and then straight to the nuts Jab, straight, uppercut, overhand to the body and then hook to the nuts Jab, straight, uppercut, hook to the body and then overhand to the nuts Straight, uppercut, hook, overhand to the body and then jab to the nuts
Dude, chill out with that man. If you don't know any unconventional fighters, don't say anything at all man. Chill out.
You are new here, welcome! but your thread on unconventional boxers is not really new. I gave you that answer to extend the point of view on the term unconventional because it can be confused with another similar term: unorthodox. Golota threw away major victories for his unconventional boxing and still no one knows very well why he raged on Bowe's genitals during those two matches he was winning largely on points.
Tyson's extreme lack of height and peekaboo style were pretty unconventional for a heavy. Mayweather had a pretty unconventional defence.
Peek-a-boo was used by Floyd Patterson, Jose Torres so not really unconventional. Tyson just used it the best. Scotty Olsen used a variation of it as well. Mayweather obviously learned it from his family who learned the Philly style popularized by George Benton and others. I think Toney is the best at it.
Pacquiao's old style, like how he fought Marquez the first time. The constant bobbing and weaving and head movement non stop PLUS only going to the head for power shots. No work to the body hardly. Same way he fought Barrera, explosive and unconventional.
