    Jones vs. Toney

With apologies to most of the others on the ballot, the level of competition was not on the level of Toney.

I agree Lacy has shown nothing through his career to be even recognised as a puncher ask Mooar Shieka???

forget Scott pemberton/Robin Reid (they were severly washed up)

But i thought i would put it on because I am a Brit and ween a representative on this list. Its Joes best win ....but Lacy is probably the worst fighter here.

Pacquiao beat Barrera more convincingly than Jones beat Toney though?? Just a thought. A stoppage always beats points.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but Hamed put on a master class against Jose Badillo.

De La Hoya did NOT win the first 9 rounds.

He won enough to take the decision on my card, but it wasn't a shutout after 9.

Tito had skills. Not DLH level, but he had more than just power.

He wouldn't have achieved what he did with merely power.

If we're talking Duran, then we can also add the Dejesus rubber match and the Palomino beating.

Late prime? Was that the nice way of saying past his prime, because that wasn't a prime Barrera in there with Pacman. I give credit where credit due, but don't say he was prime. He wasn't.

    Cleveland Williams vs Muhammad Ali
    Christian Mijares vs Arce
Sugar Ray Leonard vs Roberto Duran II
    Alexis Arguello vs Ray Mancini
Marco Antonio Barrera vs Naseem Hamed
Juan Manuel Marquez vs Manny Pacquiao I

Barrera schooled Hamed, fantastic performance that retired the much fancied Prince.

Most of the talk about Barrera being past his prime came after Manny annihiliated him.

Before the fight, most of the talk about publications and a lot of fans was how Barrera changed his style for the better, but was just as effective as ever, just in a different way.

He was very highly regarded in 2003.

I'm well aware that Marco Antonio Barrera was the pre-fight favourite, but when he was in the ring he didn't look as good as he usually does. He had already had two hellish bouts with Eric Morales, and had been fighting since 1989.

I'm not saying prime Barrera beats Manny Pacquiao at super-featherweight, but prime Barrera makes it competitive and doesn't get TKO'ed. :good

Who had been very active since his pro debut in '89, who endured two bouts with Eric Morales, and had moved up in weight on 3 different occasions.

What has being a top 10 P4P fighter got to do with anything? Did Joe Calzaghe just defeat a prime Bernard Hopkins? The answer is no, he didn't.
