I see zero problem with Crawford fighting at 154, especially fighting a former WW like Spence. After all ESJ's health problems it might be for the best to do it at 154.
I don't see any reason for him to flee anymore. Before the Porter fight maybe, but now I figure there's about a 25 to 30% chance Spence might actually be able to beat him. Plus Crawford might simply follow him up to 154, as he does have the height and reach to do so.

Based on his performance against Porter, why would Spence be concerned? Crawford was down on almost everyone’s cards for the majority of the fight and offered little as the ‘P4P Best’. Ugas would have been watching with a smile on his face…
What's wrong with Crawford's performance? Nobody could stop Porter but him. Even Porter accepted that and praised Crawford. You'd better not give me poor reasons.
