Most are afraid of Beterbiev. It's a shame that most of his pro career has been wasted.................

 

This has absolutely nothing to do with money.

All that's happened is that the IBF asked Braehmer, Boesel, and Yarde if they wanted to become Beterbiev's mandatory. If any had said yes, the IBF would enforce the mandatory and only then would negotiations begin.

Beterbiev's team is just waiting to see who the IBF come up with.

And what money do they have? Dude has barely made a mark in the sport.

Fans still pulling the "lowballing" card on mandatory defences and fights for vacant belts, like in Beterbiev's last fight is ridiculous. If an initial offer isn't enough, then it would go to pursebids anyway. And if there isn't enough money in that, it just means their own value isn't all that to begin with.
Lowballing with titles on the line happens in voluntaries, unifications and between different level stars, but not in this cases because there's always a way around it with pursebids.
