    Beterbiev's best win is Mundo.

He's a very good plodder, but still a plodder. The kind that get found out by guys like Ward. Canelo plods sometimes too, but they are good at plodding I guess.

Beterbiev is a talented boxer with bone crushing power. He is not some plodder. Beterbiev has the skill set and physical attributes to beat anyone. Ward spent 95 percent of his career at supermiddle weight.

I think this is a cope. Beterbiev was able to close down Usyk in the amateurs, beat Kovalev twice at 21/22 while 20 months younger, break Gvozdyk after 8 rounds and retire him, Bivol is intimidated or at least very respectful and Ward didn't want to stick around to find out.

 The only question is what round does Beterbiev brutally knock Dre into a quivering semi-conscious heap because his chances of actually beating Beterbiev are about as high as Sunny Edwards' are of knocking out Big Bang Zhang.

Had Ward not pooped his pants and bolted from the sport with his tail between his legs when the division was on fire he would've got burned alive. There is literally nothing he can do to win the fight. Even his corrupt judges and refs won't be able to save him from a brutal KO defeat.

Ward retired for a reason and it had nothing to do with injuries. He wasn’t going undefeated at 175.

Really easy one this one, Beterbiev by KO. Ward is one of the smartest fighters around, and he knew it was a terrible stylistic matchup for him as @Reg pointed out, plus he also realised he wasn't as good as he used to be (in case you don't believe me, watch his footwork vs Froch compared to Vs Kovalev). Besides, you don't fight Beterbiev unless you really have to.

Before anyone brings up Kovalev, it was the case that a) Kovalev was already well into his decline b) Kovalev was a much more favourable matchup in terms of styles c) Kovalev still should've been given the first fight.

    Its happened before.

You can go back to Charles vs Marciano

Weve all seen a vicious rampaging (supposedly) less skilled fighter rip through a master boxer especially on the back end of his career.

Some of these guys DKSAB, that is more obvious than the beatdown Beterbiev would have put on Ward. Ward retired at 33 for a reason - Beterbiev was his mandatory.

Son of headbutt would have resorted to headbutts and low blows again AB. I'm not certain of the response but my guess is it would be returned in kind.

Just say you are biased and have no idea what you are talking, to get out of this. Beterbiev is European and World Amateur Champion, and had around 300 amateur bouts, with report suggesting he is 295-5.

And you are saying he is a plodder and is limited skill wise, absolutely bollocks.
Ward is the perfect style for him.
Ward is a dirty fighter, and that won't work against Beterbiev, as he is million time stronger and the moment Ward decide to go dirty, Beterbiev will KO him with a rabbit punch.

Ward best skill was the corrupt judges and paid referee, nothing else.
Kovalev clearly beats him in the first fight, so don't know how can anyone even try to debate that blatant robbery, and the second fight was a mockery of the sport, dozens of low blows, and a final lowblow hit for the "win".
And the only reason he retired so young is to duck all of the top fighters in the division.
Bivol schools him and Beterbiev KO the this dirty piece of horse ****.

Beterbiev hardest matchup style wise is exactly Bivol. Kinda the same for Bivol.

Also this 39 years old version of Artur will beat any single version of Ward. Prime Beterbiev literally murders him.

I don't think Ward takes the fight.

If he did, he'd be battered and stopped. Wrong opponent.

Agree, I can't see Ward taking the fight in the first place, if he did he's getting sent to the shadowrealm.
