FYI ..BHop was underdog and Pavlik was supposed to "retire" him but unfortunately you know what happened...
    ------------------------------------------
    Let's break it down...

    BHop vs Pavlik

44 yr old (shot) vs 26 yr top p4p (prime)
    Underdog vs Favourite

Result: UD BHop dominant from 1st bell to the last

    RJJ vs Joe C

39 yr old (shot) vs 36 yr old no. 2 p4p (prime)
    Underdog vs Favourite

Result: UD Joe C. but KD in 1st round
    -------------------------------------------

BHop's win was more historical obviously

I voted for Hopkins, but this is all based on the premise of Pavlik being a very good fighter. Pavlik is a very simple fighter who I don't think would ever beat a guy like Hopkins whose seen everything. History will tell us more about how impressive the Hopkins victory is over Pavlik. My guess would be that it won't be that significant, I hope I'm wrong though cause I really like Pavlik.

I can only add I was shocked when Pavlik lost, but not when Jones lost.

They both performed very, very well, but B-Hops job on Pavlik was unexpected and more meaningful. Also Joe did hit the canvass even if it was a clothesline rather than a punch so Bernard gets the nod on both counts.

    Hopkins.

Calzag just dicked around in there. Same **** goes for that record.

He's great but not that great.

not a hard one to pick obviously. B-hop didn't get his behind kissing the canvas by a washed up legend. i can't see joe doing the same with kelly. joe might win, but not so sure
