Going on what Andy Kerr said on the bunce hour. DeGale and Jeffries both said they will likley turn pro at Super Middle. Could these four be the next benn, eubank, watson, collins.
I really hope they do turn out to be that good but it is asking alot at the moment. The guys certainly have ability to along way and a meeting between the fighters will be great some time down the road. I think all 4 have personalities to get the British public excited for the fights and the contrasting styles could make ESB pretty hot in anticipation. We also have a couple more fighters around the weight who are young so maybe British boxing could be in for something special or maybe we get the avoiding and bull**** talk we are more akin to and miss out on all the fights. SN will probably avoid the fights completely.
That would be very intresting if they do all box at supermiddle weight, we would have 5 good young guy's at that weight including kenny anderson, some great fights ahead.
All in all it spells great news for british boxing and boxing in general. Hopefully this crop will take over, Haye, Hatton,Froch, Calzaghe when they retire. I really think Sutherland will be really succesful at SMW. But I thought grooves and degale would move down to middleweight. What do you guys think? If they did I think they'd be really succesful and then later on in there career they could move to SMW. I saw grooves first fight at SMW and I jus feel he's better suited to middle.
I doubt Groves will carry much power at super middle and may be a career middle. Degale looks like his frame can fill out abit and will probably not have to rely on power. Sutherland is looking a beast at the moment and could go to higher weights.
Im investing in a set on monday fancy a car pool from Talafornia? with the carbon footprint and all that...
Talafornia - Pram Springs !! What's the overall expectations of sutherland i know a few lads who boxed amateur with him said he's a great boxer plenty of power but he's meant to be a knob end.
I doubt they will all meet at their peaks. I think it will be more akin to the era we had at light middleweight in the 90's, you know when we had Steve Roberts, Wayne Alexander, Anthony Farnell, Takaloo, Paul Samuels. When their respective management did eventually match them, the clamour had died down and the bouts didn't mean much.
