jessh dec can we assume that from your numerous cobra threads of late, you are now officially a fan? you have posted more than me!
I ain't a Pavlik hater....and I would say Enzo Calzaghe is a **** trainer too. You could easily say that the excuses you guys come up with are myths perpetuated by Pavlik nuthuggers. It works both ways. Pavlik's legs were GONE. Froch was knocked over but clearly still with it. I would say Froch has the better chin. I do like Pavlik, just think he will do his best work at 160 :good
I promoted The Cobra on these boards long, long before you started gracing us with your wit and wisdom, socrates...:bart
wit is educated insolence... wisdom is wikipedia! A great many people think they are thinking when they are acutally rearranging their prejudices, now what do i think of you umhhhhhhhhhhh...
He's just not the type of fighter u can be confident in. He's a bookies dream cos he'll always be the underdog but he sems to pull it out. I don't know all of those bar hopkins and calzaghe are 50 50.
Whoops i read it as whom would beat Froch. He would beat Bika, Balszay and Abraham and give Andrade and Bute good fights but i wouldn't favour him.
Size is not height. Bute is around 180 on fight night. Pavlik is usually at 171 when he fights over 160. That's a pretty big difference. I think Pavlik would win against Froch though. First, Froch is not so big himself. And he wouldn't go back like Taylor did in the last 6 rounds. The Taylor-Froch was not a onesided fight, with a ko at the end. From the 6th round, Froch slowly came back and took the fight over. At each round, he was backing Taylor. We could see it was not going well for Taylor. Won't happen against Pavlik. If Taylor is able to kd Froch, think about what Pavlik can do...
