if love is garbage like you say, why would medina deserve a title shot for beating garbage? I never heard anybody say love was on the verge of a title shot.

that's what I noticed about him too...he never quite seemed to settle down. that's why I thought the problem with him might just be his mental conditioning. If he were more relaxed in there, he has the physical tools to dismantle a campesino like medina, but it to me like he was very distracted...probably got all kinds of **** going on in his personal life.

exactly....these haters on here are tryna make up reasons they hate the guy, talking about his attitude and sh8t. love is one of the most personable, warm and friendly guys in boxing, but they tryna make him out to be like mayorga and sonny liston combined just to have an excuse to hate on the guy. he was fortunate to have good management that looked out for him...how you gonna hold that against him? are fighters supposed to find the manager who CAN'T get them any exposure on TV and CAN'T get them big fights? mfkers need to just come right out and say what REALLY is the problem they have with Love.

Exactly what sort of "**** talking" are you referring to when you talk about Love?

Show me the video where Love comes off sounding ANYTHING like Broner...

    They're 2 completely different personalities.

i think when these dudes see love on tv, they think it's broner. They don't realize it's not the same guy. in fact when they look at broner, floyd, love, crawford, lara, ward. bradley etc, they think it's all the same guy.

People only hate Love because he's associated with TMT.

I actually felt a little bad for Love. I've got nothing against the guy and it seems like he's trying to do the right thing.

So much of the ill will towards him comes from people buying into the Mayweather villain act a little too much, to the point where they like to see anyone associated with him KO'd as well. The rest of it comes from the favors he's had in his career above other guys with similar talent, but I don't blame the fighter for that.

It's a brutal sport and you've got to take what you can as a fighter, while you can. Love can't control if he gets a decision he shouldn't have. The bigger problem is that when you get decisions you shouldn't, instead of solving the issue and improving, the habits get reinforced because the message you're getting is that they're winning habits. You can wind up drinking your own Kool-Aid. Eventually, you face someone who exposes that.

That's why, ultimately, fighters on the receiving end of generous decisions can pay more in the long run than the short-term bump a loss would give them. Eventually, someone's going to give you a harsh lesson. In J'Leon's case, it was Porky.

I don't dislike the kid, though. I hope he can bounce back and give us some entertaining fights in the future.

J'Leon is a nice cat and a good fundamental boxer. Although he fundamentally got KTFO'd he's pretty safe with TMT ! He's tight with Money... Now whether he's a great fighter or not, well?

That's because it's tough being a PBF hater that's why. PBF hasn't lost in the ring so anytime someone attached to him loses or something bad happens to them the PBF haters rejoice, which is hilarious and sick at the same time. The true definition of pathetic and desperate. PBF didn't lose why are you cheering?:deal

To be fair, that's exactly the kind of response Floyd himself tries to draw out of people. I don't think he's a bad guy, but image-wise, he's cultivated himself as a sort of villain because he realizes that people who want to see you get humbled buy tickets, too. That backlash makes your own fans more passionate to defend you, so it helps build your earnings power and fanbase loyalty.

One of the downfalls of that is those people, who you profit off of, are going to go nuts when you or anyone associated with you goes down.

J'leon's just a pawn in it, and the anti-fans are happy that one of the king's men went down since they still can't get to the king himself.
